A Massive thank you to Peri Lynn and Hollie for organising the event which was a great success despite the weather. An amazing £427.50 was raised for this great cause. Thank massive you to everybody who contributed to this worthwhile cause especially the Gelato Heaven Team for donating a delicious Ice Cream Cake to the raffle.

On Tuesday 18th April my lovely Wife Sulina and Mother-in-Law Bibi of Gelato Heaven organised a fundraising stall in the main Reception of the Luton and Dunstable Hospital. With the Easter theme in mind, they created delicious Cake Pops (cakes on a stick) in the form of little chicks and Easter Bunnies, Cupcakes, Cake Bites and delicious Gelato Ice cream with flavours such as Hot Cross Bun, Ferrero Rocher, Cream Egg and Strawberry and White Chocolate. The next day Sulina took the remaining Cake Pops to work at Lexis Nexis in London and sold the rest. So far they have raised £100 for the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. Well done to the Gelato Heaven Team and stay tuned for more Charitable events.

This was the first charity fundraising event held in Gaddesden Row on 09 April 2011 raising money for Marie Curie Cancer careMacmillan Cancer Support and Breakthrough Breast Cancer. I was given the opportunity to capture this special event. Well done to Karen McCallum for organising this event for such worthy causes and raising a staggering £2591

Karens story:

"I lost my very dear friend Linda Morton to breast cancer 14 years ago, she fought her battle from the age of 30 for 7 years before losing the fight. Linda lives on in the memories of all who knew her and is missed every day. However, she wouldn't have wanted us to be sad so by holding events like this it means that we can celebrate her life and help raise to money and awareness so that one day others may not have to follow in her footsteps".
